Since my move, which I’m sure you and I will talk about at some point, I’ve been very discerning about what I am adding to my much smaller space. I love a good sale and when I’m sharing my personal favorites here on the journal, you are seeing the things I’m actually buying or things I would insist my friends need if I was shopping for them. Since we are now friends (thank you social media), it’s only fitting that I share these with you too. I’m doing the editing work so you don’t have to. Let’s kick this off with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

First and foremost, I need to begin with these Alexander Wang mules (1) because they will go fast. If you don’t know about the Rexa mule, its a more modern and hardware feel to the popular Alaïa mules. I do like the Wang version much more, and think that with long loose jeans and a plain white cardigan they could be an all-fall-long shoe choice. This is the kind of mule you slide on to meet the girls for an nyc lunchbreak. And here is the wild part- they are marked down from $595 to only $160. If you want to make a fun fashion choice at a fraction of the cost. I’d add these to cart pretty immediately before they are gone.

I’ve been a big fan of Alexis Bittar jewelry for a while now. She deserves her own post. I tried this brut crystal cuff (2) on months ago and I have very small wrists. This is very thick gold, and was big for me but because it’s a cuff is that I can have it squeezed in for my size or wear it a bit higher on my arm to give the feeling of a band. Her jewelry doesn’t go on sale often so if you are looking to add a piece, this is a solid investment.

This Topshop white dress (3) is going in my bag. I envision this dress being one that I’ll wear on my next trip. I imagine wearing this on a stroll to explore worn cobblestone streets, with a black bag and shades. White dresses often feel either to boho, or too prairie on me but this ones unique lines should surpass trends.

I have been out to a few dinners here on the beach where I am in my sundress, and the air conditioning in the restaurant hits me and I’m wishing I brought the scarf I almost brought but didn’t because the scarf didn’t make any sense with my look. What would have made sense is a lightweight oversized blazer in a spring colorway- but I didn’t have that. Now, I will. The blazer here is by Topshop and is a longlong stripe. It has a high button, which I won’t button and I do plan to wear this for fall as well as spring/summer.

The unexpected win of my bag has to be the embroidered green Topshop skirt(5). I know the color is unexpected but it will look great on a tan skintone and make even a basic white tank look elevated for date night sunset dinners. This is one of those can you just trust me and try it on moments. Wet off-the-beach hair, pulled back into a bun, add a shell necklace and you are basically the best dressed.

This beauty exclusive is a special one. If you have been following me on instagram, you know that a matte lip has changed my look so I’ve been editing and investing in the perfect shade. I always have one in my bag… and when I saw this shade (Nude Supreme*) by Carolina Herrera (7) it stopped my in my scroll. Then I realized- who needs a labubu when I can hang my lipstick from my bag. Is it an investment at $57? yes. This is a present, a gift you give to yourself. I also think it will compliment my skirt above very well ;)

I’m also love to use beauty sales and exclusives to add items to my makeup collection that I’ve never tried before like this Muzigae Mansion vegan tint, and this Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder & Brush Set ($117 Value for $78). If you are more of a pore-focused setting powder girlie, this fan fave is on sale too.
Last but not least, I’ve been seeing this denim cut a lot online. I feel confident the cut will be nice with a peplum top and clog. Perfect time for me to give it a shot.
